Project Description

Conversion of a 35,000 s.f. Synagogue and 75 student Hebrew School into a 400 student
Kindergarten school building for P.S. 86. The synogogue proper was converted into three
stories, each containing three classrooms per floor. An air shaft area was converted into a
commercial kitchen. All toilet areas were designed for accessibility and new 5-stop elevator
was installed. All fenestration was upgraded to meet school standards. All new mechanical,
electrical and plumbing systems were installed.
