Client: Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation
Location: Mount Vernon, NY

Project Description

D&B was retained to rehabilitate the Hutchinson Ave. Pump Station, including the evaluation of the pumps, piping and electrical  systems. Architectural improvements included new windows, interior space planning, and rehabilitation.
The Hutchinson Avenue Pump Station was constructed in the 1930’s. As a result, the New York State Offices of Parks, Recreation, and Historical Preservation currently list the site for preservation; the site may soon be formally

• Code Compliance Study and Report
• Grit System Analysis
• HVAC Systems
• Piping Systems
• Station Bypass
• Electrical Systems and PLC Controls
