D&B Awarded Two NYCDEP Projects on Staten Island

Posted on February 1, 2013

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) has awarded D&B Engineers and Architects, P.C. (D&B) two contracts in Staten Island: Oakwood Beach WWTP 5KV Substation reconstruction (Contract OB-125) and Port Richmond WWTP Boiler Upgrade (Contract PR-113). This assignment will be performed under our CTYWDCM-3B Contract. The contract will be managed by D&B as the prime and includes a broad and talented group of subconsultants. We will have the benefit of a team of experienced former DEP staff that are familiar with DEP WWTPs. Our proposed staff includes former NYCDEP personnel that understand the NYCDEP culture, requirements, SOPs and concerns. They include Gopal, Joe Garibaldi and Joe Massaro, all well respected and knowledgeable technical experts. These individuals are familiar with the challenges related to operating a NYCDEP WWTP and the unique considerations that must be made to avoid issues during construction. For more information please contact John Schreck, P.E. at 516-364-9890 ext 3414.
