D&B held its annual Holiday Celebration this past December at the Fox Hollow in Woodbury, New York. “The D&B Holiday Party has traditionally been our way of giving a little something back to our very dedicated and loyal employees,” said D&B President Henry Chlupsa. “In prior years, the Holiday Party has focused on conveying a holiday-themed ‘thank you’ to all the staff who make D&B the great firm that it is.” While traditionally our employees are center stage, this year we also celebrated two other very worthwhile events: kicking off D&B’s 50th Anniversary year, and honoring the founder and first President of the firm, William F. Cosulich, and past President Nicholas J. Bartilucci.
Including all D&B employees, spouses and significant others, the D&B 2014 Holiday Party broke all previous attendance records ringing in at 250 people strong. A perfect size crowd considering the trifecta of events being celebrated.
With representatives of both the Cosulich and Bartilucci families on hand, Master of Ceremonies, Henry Chlupsa, also announced the creation of a $50,000 scholarship fund at Manhattan College in honor of alumni Bill Cosulich (posthumously) and Nick Bartilucci. Testimonials were presented by long time D&Bers, Dennis Koehler, Joe Baader and Ken Pritchard. Entitled, “The D&B Engineers and Architects, P.C. Founders Scholarship in Honor of William F. Cosulich, P.E. ’49 and Nicholas J. Bartilucci, P.E. ’54,” the “scholarship plaque” was accepted by Mrs. Anne Cosulich and her daughter Jeanne on behalf of her late husband Bill Cosulich, and by Mr. Paul Bartilucci on behalf of Nick Bartilucci, who could not attend due to a previously scheduled family commitment.
