D&B Supports Disabled Veterans

D&B at Vet DogsThe second annual America’s VetDogs “Long Island Run & Dog Walk” was held on Saturday, July 30 at the Old Bethpage Restoration Village.  This is a fund raising event for America’s VetDogs. The event is a timed 5K run.  If you were not a runner, there is a 2 mile dog walk which was taken advantage of by several participants.

America's Vet DogsAmerica’s VetDogs trains guide and service dogs to provide independence, enhanced mobility, and companionship to veterans with disabilities from all eras.  It costs over $50,000 to breed, raise, train and place one assistance dog, but America’s VetDogs provides its services completely free of charge to each veteran.

D&B was one of the main sponsors of this event and D&B Executive Vice President Steve Fangmann served on the committee. In addition, the registration fee for each employee was paid for by the firm. The photo shows the D&B team that supported our disabled veterans. Congratulations and thank you to all the participants for supporting our disabled heroes.
