In November, Westchester County Executive, Robert P. Astorino, announced the recipients of the first annual Soil and Water Conservation Achievement Award, a recognition sponsored by the Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District. The award recognizes activities and projects which promote the conservation, management and restoration of soil and water resources in Westchester County. One of the award winning projects is the South Fox Meadow Brook Stormwater Management Program located in the Village of Scarsdale. The Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District held award presentations at the Westchester County Center on December 11th.
The Village of Scarsdale retained D&B, under the leadership of Vice President, Rob DeGiorgio to provide design and management services for this project. Congratulations to Rob and the White Plains office staff for being recognized by Westchester County as an industry leader in the field
