Sunken Meadow State Park - Proposed Design for Toll Booths

Green Design/LEED

Sensitivity to the environment is one of D&B’s core objectives and is reflected in many of our sustainable design projects. We define green infrastructure as tangible opportunities for clients to save energy, conserve natural resources and create a sustainable atmosphere while minimizing investments of time or money.

From solar energy to rain cisterns, we have the practical experience to understand what works and what does not, and how best to implement the technology to gain the greatest benefit without undue burden on future operations & maintenance costs.

LEED Certification

As architects and engineers, we are in a unique position to influence the built environment and to incorporate design strategies for greatest sustainability. Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices, and is recognized internationally as the premier mark of achievement in green building design.

Led by our LEED-accredited staff, D&B designs buildings that are environmentally responsible and enhance both living and working environments.
