WEF Honors Three D&B Employees

Posted on September 10, 2014

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is an organization of multidisciplined environmental professionals focused on wastewater, water and water reuse. WEF was founded in 1928 and includes experts and specialists in environmental engineering, industrial wastewater treatment, sewage treatment, stormwater management and water quality analysis and planning. The WEF network includes water quality professionals from 76 member associations in 30 countries. In New York, WEF’s member association is the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA).

Recently, the Board of Trustees of WEF honored three D&B employees, Dennis Koehler, K. Gopal and Ron Delo with the designation of “Life Member.” The title “Life Member” shows appreciation for service, dedication and commitment to water quality and 35 years of membership with WEF and NYWEA. Dennis, Gopal and Ron are very active members of the Long Island and Metropolitan chapters of NYWEA. Their continued participation and support of the NYWEA water quality issues and agenda has been recognized with the “Life Member” distinction. Congratulations to Dennis, Gopal and Ron for their dedication and commitment to improving water quality issues!
