Specialty: Marketing, Communication and Business Development
Matt Guthrie DeLange has over 30 years in the AEC industry, beginning his career on the technical side as an award-winning restoration ecologist and environmental scientist. After 12 years, Matt turned his focus to the marketing of ecological and environmental services as a distinct and stand-alone market.
He has since applied his ecological mindset and perspective to the holistic integration of AEC marketing, organizational development, and client-centered integration. Matt understands a wide variety of AEC technical information, thinks systemically/structurally, and sees the interrelationships between all organizational components, tying them together as a comprehensive and compelling client-centered “marketing ecology.” Ultimately, Matt applies this experience and perspective to increase D&B’s client support via exceptional responsiveness to client needs in a cost-effective and innovative manner. Matt reports directly to D&B’s President and select Senior Vice Presidents, leading a team of eight marketing specialists, across three offices.
Matt is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, the Graphic Artists Guild, and is a past-member of the Town of Huntington Environmental Quality Review Board. He has also given numerous AEC marketing presentations on topics ranging from marketing ecology, information/database management, graphic/website design, corporate identity/branding, and presentation techniques.
