Early in September, D&B leadership and employees gathered for our Annual Company Picnic at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park – and it was nothing short of a fantastic day. With clear skies, great food, and a lineup of fun activities, the event was a celebration of D&B’s 60th anniversary, our team’s shared successes, and the strong sense of community that defines our firm.
At the picnic, D&B President Steve Fangmann and D&B Executive Vice President Bill Merklin made exciting announcements about upcoming leadership transitions, the most notable being Bill’s transition to President in January 2026.
Following the announcement, everyone enjoyed chess, lawn games, and a catered BBQ lunch, complete with summer favorites – from grilled burgers to fresh lemonade and ice cream treats.
D&B President, Steve Fangmann shared his thoughts: “It’s always special to see our team come together outside the office. This picnic reminds us that our strength comes not only from our hard work but from the connections we build with each other. Cheers to D&B for another 60 years!”
