A fun time was had by all at the 24th Annual City of Long Beach Fall Festival on October 8 and October 9, 2022. The two-day event was held in front of City Hall (after an absence of two years due to COVID-19) and is part of the City of Long Beach’s year-long Centennial Celebration.
The event was very well attended, aided by perfect Long Island fall weather. There were attractions for younger and older celebrants alike including a pumpkin bounce house, carousel, hay wagon rides, ferris wheel and fire engine rides. Kennedy Plaza was festooned with Halloween displays and pumpkins galore. Live music filled the air, a costume parade was featured and over 30 local vendors participated, including jewelry, craft and apparel vendors. Food trucks and the food tent featuring fresh produce, breads and pies were popular with the gregarious crowd.
In support of this community event, D&B Engineers & Architects sponsored the popular carousel ride which was a huge hit with families.
