D&B Receives Project of the Year – Buildings Award and Resiliency Award at 51st Annual Awards Dinner
The ASCE Metropolitan Section, Long Island Branch’s 51st Annual Awards Dinner was held in-person for the first time since 2019 and was a resounding success.
“It was a long time coming and proved to be a well-attended industry event,” stated D&B’s Matthew Thogersen. P.E. who is President of the Long Island Branch of ASCE. “Colleagues resumed professional and personal business, new relationships commenced, and ASCE’s 2022 Award Winners were recognized.”
D&B Senior Vice President Joseph H. Marturano commented, “I am extremely proud to say that D&B received the 2022 Project of the Year Buildings Award as well as the 2022 Resiliency Award. These awards are true recognition of the outstanding professionalism of the respective D&B teams who worked through many unexpected challenges and especially trying conditions due to the pandemic. The professional work ethic and the dedication to total client satisfaction that characterized our teams is far above and beyond the norm, and is reflected by both awards.”
In addition to Mr. Marturano and Mr. Thogersen, D&B was represented by D&B Vice President Frank DeVita who directed the Division of Marine Resources Building project, Vice President Olga Mubarak, Senior Associate Lisa Lautato, and Associate Tom Schaefer.
Held on August 18, 2022 at The Westbury Manor (Westbury, NY), ASCE 2021 and 2020 Award Winners were also belatedly recognized for their achievements.
