D&B has recently expanded with six new hires: Jillian Bayoneto of Westbury, Michael Flores of Mount Sinai, Ava Gross of Sayville, Tyler Maslak of Sayville, Emily Riha of Huntington Station, and Trevor Wallace of Valley Stream.
Jillian Bayoneto of Westbury, NY joins D&B Engineers and Architects in the Accounting Department at the firm’s Woodbury, NY corporate headquarters. Ms. Bayoneto previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York, NY as an Experienced Tax Associate. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Forensic Accounting from State University of New York at Albany.
Michael Flores joins D&B Engineers and Architects as Engineer I in the Wastewater Division at the firm’s Woodbury, NY headquarters. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Manhattan University in 2026. As the team captain of Manhattan University’s Rocket League, he led the team to the MAAC Championship in 2024. Mr. Flores has experience with engineering projects such as designing roadway alignment using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Ava Gross joins the firm as Engineer I in the Water Supply Division at D&B’s headquarters in Woodbury, NY. She earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Stony Brook University in 2026 and is currently working toward a Master of Business Administration degree. Ms. Gross has previous work experience in the Stony Brook University Chemical Engineering Department researching electrochemical CO₂ capture and release using redox-active compounds.
Tyler Maslak of Sayville, NY joins D&B as Engineer I in the Wastewater Division at the Woodbury, NY office. Mr. Maslak is a recent graduate of Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Ecological Engineering. He has experience in designing green infrastructure to manage stormwater and designing water disinfection systems for use in remote water treatment settings.
Emily Riha of Huntington Station, NY, a recent graduate of University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, joins D&B as Environmental Scientist I in the Civil Engineering Division at the Woodbury, NY office. In her previous position as a Conservation Education Presenter at Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL, Ms. Riha educated guests on sustainability, habitat restoration, and conservation.
Trevor Wallace comes to D&B Engineers and Architects as Engineer I in the Water Supply Division at D&B’s Woodbury, NY headquarters. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. Mr. Wallace has experience working as an Engineer/Drafter at Howard I. Shapiro & Associates in Lynbrook, NY.
