It was a warm day with clear blue skies on the links at the prestigious Mill River Club in support of a great cause. D&B Engineers and Architects once again proudly supported the Maurer Foundation in the 28th Annual Golf Classic as a Pink Diamond Sponsor.
The event took place on May 8, 2023 and raised nearly $280,000 to help save lives through breast health education focused on breast cancer prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, early detection and risk reduction. Event proceeds support the Foundation’s breast health education programs which are presented to a number of schools, colleges, businesses and community groups.
D&B was represented by D&B President, Steven A. Fangmann, P.E., BCEE and Lucia Fangmann who are both on the Golf Outing Committee, and D&B Senior Vice President Joseph H. Marturano.
Mr. Fangmann commented, “D&B is proud to support such a worthy cause and help to support breast health education. The Maurer Foundation continues to have an enormous impact in the fight against breast cancer.”
