ENR (Engineering News-Record) magazine, a primary source of engineering and construction news and analysis, enjoys industry-wide prestige, and well it should. It originated from two separate publications, Engineer & Surveyor and The Plumber and Sanitary Engineer in 1874, a year when U.S. Grant was President, Victoria was Queen of the British Empire and Guglielmo Marconi, Winston Churchill, Herbert Hoover, Robert Frost and Gertrude Stein were born.
ENR has far-reaching impact as the publication annually surveys leading engineering, architectural, contracting and construction firms, ranks them according to reported revenue, and publishes information including analyses, interviews and commentaries.
D&B President Steven A. Fangmann, P.E., BCEE commented, “The industry we serve is both harbinger of change and an engine of change. In order to continue to be a successful resource year after year in such a dynamic arena as engineering and construction, providing sustainable engineering and environmental solutions is a must. I am proud to say that an extraordinary team effort from all our people is reflected in D&B’s consistent placement in the ENR Top 500.”
