D&B Rehabilitating Nodine Hill Elevated Water Storage Tank

The City of Yonkers, located on the beautiful Hudson River in Westchester County New York, retained D&B to provide construction management and administration services for work performed by contractors during the rehabilitation of the city’s one-million-gallon above ground water storage tank. The Nodine Hill tank is one of three city water towers that service Yonkers, New York State’s fourth largest city, and constitutes an essential part of the city’s water distribution system. The extensive rehabilitation includes fully removing the existing coating system and preparing and painting the interior and exterior. The catwalk, roof access ladder, and tank roof vent will undergo upgrading as will and the existing electrical service.
