D&B Architects and Engineers held its annual blood drive in conjunction with the New York Blood Center (NYBC). Participating D&B employees received the remainder of the afternoon off as a thank you for stepping forward and donating. The very successful blood drive reinforced a guiding principle of D&B that shaping communities should not be limited to the office or the field.
A very special thank you goes out to Joe Lackner for organizing the event and to the 34 D&B employees who donated blood. All contributions go on to help NYBC provide lifesaving blood products to some 200 hospitals in the region, including those in New York, New Jersey, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and parts of Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
