D&B is pleased to announce that the firm has exceeded its goal of collecting at least 100 bags or boxes of used clothing, coats or small household goods in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI). Reaching this goal provides BBBSLI with the necessary funding to match a child to a Big Brother or Big Sister as part of their mentoring program.
D&B dedicated areas within its Woodbury headquarters to accept employee donations in support of this charitable effort. Given the great volume of donations, the firm expanded its collection points to include a vacant cubicle and various areas throughout the facility.
Incorporated in 1977, BBBSLI makes professionally supported matches between adult volunteers and children. By developing and implementing a wide range of mentoring programs, the organization has made a positive difference in the lives of Long Island’s youth.
