D&B participated in the 3rd annual America’s VetDogs “Long Island Run & Dog Walk”, held on Saturday, July 30 at the Old Bethpage Restoration Village. This fund-raiser for America’s VetDogs is a timed 5K run as well as a 2-mile dog walk. America’s VetDogs trains guide and service dogs to provide independence, enhanced mobility, and companionship to veterans with disabilities from all eras. It costs over $50,000 to breed, raise, train and place one assistance dog, but America’s VetDogs provides its services completely free of charge to each veteran.
D&B was one of the main sponsors of this event and D&B Executive Vice President Steve Fangmann served on the committee. In addition, the registration fee for each employee was paid for by the firm. The photos show the D&B team members that supported our disabled veterans. Congratulations to all our medal winners and thank you to all the participants for supporting our heroes.
