D&B Supports Long Island’s Largest Corporate Run-Walk For Charity

D&B employees represented the firm at the 13th annual Marcum Workplace Challenge held at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, NY. The 3.5-mile run-walk receives broad participation from the Long Island business community and has raised over $800,000 for LI charities since 2006 when Marcum became title sponsor. Registration fees of each team member were donated by D&B.

Proceeds from this year’s event were donated to: The Long Island Children’s Museum; Children’s Medical Fund of New York; Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank; and The Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Congratulations to Chris Koegel (Vice President) on leading the way for D&B, finishing the race in 20:14, and to Shaun McGrath (Structural Engineering Division Manager) who finished in a close second at 22:41.
