AWD New Water Supply Well and Associated Facilities
With an existing water supply well that was failing, the Albertson Water District retained D&B for the design, permitting and construction management of a new 1,400 GPM water supply well and associated facilities. The new well house was constructed to contain the well pump, piping, valves, controls and chemical feed equipment.
The well discharge was designed to connect to an existing, on-site packed tower aeration system. New chemical facilities were designed and installed, including a calcium hypochlorite tablet chlorinator system and a 2,500-gallon double-wall underground sodium hydroxide storage tank and feed system.
