WCDPWT Mamaroneck Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades
D&B was retained to provide engineering design services, design services during construction, and construction administration services for the Primary, Secondary, Heating, and Chemical Handling Upgrades at the Mamaroneck Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project includes the replacement of the three 20 MGD, 200-horsepower intermediate wastewater pumps; a bypass system to handle flow during the intermediate pump station discharge isolation valve replacement; replacement of intermediate pump station pump’s variable frequency drives; replacement of the sodium hypochlorite system; installation of a new hoist system for the return activated sludge pumps; and replacement of instrumentation and control systems for plant monitoring.
